Electronic Statement Agreement
By clicking the box under Agreement on the previous page, you agree to accept your periodic account statements (e-statements) and related disclosures (e-disclosures) online.
Scope of Consent:
E-Statements: Your e-statements will include the periodic account and transaction activity for your deposit and loan accounts; electronic funds transfer (EFT) services and periodic notice of billing error rights.
E-Disclosures: Along with your e-statements, we may provide future documentation including but not limited to: notices of change in terms for deposit, EFT or loan services and Annual Privacy Notices.
We will provide your e-statement to you each month through an e-mail notice and secure link to a site where your e-statement or e-disclosure will be posted.
Hardware/Software Requirements: You may access your statements as PDF documents. To access disclosure documents online you must have a computer, Internet access, web browser, and a printer or ability to download the disclosures for your records. The minimum standards are:
-Adobe Acrobat Reader software, 4.0 or higher.
-An internet browser using 128 bit encryption or higher.
Withdrawal of Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent to receive future e-statements and e-disclosures. There are no fees or restrictions on the online access service for choosing to withdraw your consent. You must give us your withdrawal instructions by phone at 434-237-1566 or by e-mail at msr@mybcu.org or you may write us at the address listed below.

Paper Option: You have the right to request and receive a paper copy of your e-statements and e-disclosures at any time by contacting us using any of the methods listed above. There may be a fee for requesting any paper copy of a statement or disclosure we have previously provided to you electronically.
If an email notification of e-statements is returned undeliverable, we will change your account statement status to paper and it will be your responsibility to re-apply for e-statements.
Other Agreements with the Credit Union: The terms, conditions and disclosures of the Membership Agreement are incorporated herein by reference as if set forth verbatim; and said Agreement will continue to govern all aspects of our relationship except to the extent specifically modified in this Electronic Statement Agreement.
