Congress announced that they will begin delivering a second round of Economic Impact Payments to millions of Americans as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021. There is no action required by eligible individuals to receive this second payment. Beacon Credit Union does not determine who is eligible for the Economic Impact Payment.
The IRS announced that the initial direct deposit payments started to arrive as early as Tuesday, December 29 and will continue into next week. Paper checks began to be mailed on Wednesday, December 30. Beacon will post the electronic payment for eligible individuals as soon as we receive them. You may login to your Beacon Online Banking to stay up-to-date on whether the payment has been posted.
