Like Us FB Win an Ipad

All you have to do is like our Facebook page and keep an eye on our posts. We will post a link to the contest entry form on Facebook and you can enter to win a brand new iPad!

Good luck and be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page for the latest Beacon news, exclusive offers and exciting events.

Just a few guidelines for the iPad Give-A-Way:

  1. A winner is chosen every 2 months (That's right, we are giving away 6 iPads a year!)
  2. Entries are only offered through the website application. We cannot take entries at branches, in the mail or on the phone.
  3. The contest is open to members and non-members.
  4. The contest is not open to employees of Beacon.
  5. Only one entry per person, per drawing. If a person doesn't win they CAN enter a single entry in the NEXT drawing.
  6. Only one winner per calendar year. For example, if you win in 2013, you are not eligible until 2014, etc.
  7. Winners must have a working e-mail address as that will be the only form of notification.

Scams....where do they get your phone number?

Scams... where do they get your phone number?

phishing scam iconYou might think that the scammer managed to steal phone numbers from your financial institution’s databases, but that’s the furthest thing from the truth. Phone numbers can be acquired from information entered on the Internet (websites, contests, questionnaires, etc), phonebooks, and even bought by companies that earn a profit from selling lists of phone numbers to companies claiming to use text messages as a setting for advertising campaigns.
